Prep Library subscribes to NoodleTools .

This is a platform that can help you generate and organize citations and create annotations for your sources!

To use NoodleTools:

1. Login with GMAIL and select your Prep email account.

2. Create a project folder, name it, select the citation style your teacher and requested and either JUNIOR CITATION LEVEL or ADVANCED CITATION LEVEL.

3. Now you are ready to EXPORT citations directly from library databases or build your own.

Make sure to double check that your citations are accurate, ultimately it's YOUR responsibility.

4. Each source you add to your citation list comes with the option to add notecards. This is where you can make annotations!

Artificial Intelligence

Are you using AI sites for research? Here are a couple of things to remember.

1. Any information you find on AI AND use in your paper or projects MUST be cited. NoodleTools has steps to help you with this:

2.  Some AI's let you input articles to retrieve AI generated summaries. However, inputting articles from subscription sources like the NYT, The Atlantic and any library database is A VIOLATION OF COPYRIGHT LAW. Don't do it.
